About this game
Super Mario Bros. Wonder sends Mario and friends through side-scrolling courses in the Flower Kingdom. Touch a Wonder Flower and the course changes: pipes can start moving, or your character can take a different form. Power-ups offer other ways through obstacles, including bubbles that briefly become footholds. Your badge choice adds another layer to movement. Abilities include gliding with a hat and reaching walls with a vine, but only one badge can be equipped per course. Earn more through Badge Challenges or certain shops, then choose which ability to bring. Open sections of the world map allow different course orders. In local cooperative play, touching a teammate before the ghost countdown ends brings a fallen player back into the action.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for platforming fans who enjoy adapting to changing courses and experimenting with movement.
Wonder effects suggest a rhythm of learning a route and then reacting when its rules change. Badges offer a more deliberate choice before that surprise, while cooperative revival gives companions a practical way to help.
Strengths
- Movement badges give players a concrete way to approach obstacles according to their preferred technique.
- Reviving a teammate can make cooperation matter beyond simply sharing the screen.
Who it is for: Players who like course-based jumping, unusual transformations and trying different movement tools.
Play notes: The group shares the one-badge-per-course limit, so playing together does not let everyone equip a separate badge.
