About this game
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom puts Link's abilities at the centre of exploring Hyrule. Choose a route across the land, sky islands and depths, then use the objects around you to continue your journey. Ultrahand moves, rotates and joins objects, letting you build a bridge or assemble a vehicle. Fuse attaches materials to weapons, shields and arrows to alter their properties. Other abilities change how you move through the landscape: Ascend carries Link upward through overhead surfaces, while Recall reverses an object's movement. Traversal, construction and equipment combinations give you different ways to approach the places you choose to explore.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A strong design match for explorers who enjoy inventing a route and the tools to follow it.
Building a crossing and changing equipment properties can make travel and combat feel like related experiments. That freedom is likely to matter most to players who enjoy setting their own immediate goals.
Strengths
- Object construction can turn a travel obstacle into an opportunity to test an idea.
- Equipment combinations provide another outlet for experimenting beyond traversal.
Weaknesses
- Choosing your own route may feel unfocused if you prefer a firmly assigned next destination.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy open exploration, improvised constructions and testing how abilities interact with the landscape.
