About this game
Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection brings together Black Flag and Rogue with both games' single-player DLC. In Black Flag, you play pirate captain Edward Kenway in the Caribbean. Parkour through colonial cities, dive into shipwrecks for treasure, or take command of the Jackdaw to battle enemy ships and sea forts. Upgrading that ship is another part of the adventure. Rogue changes the perspective to Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who becomes a Templar and hunts his former comrades. Its journey spans New York, the North Atlantic and the River Valley, with hidden Assassins capable of turning the hunt back on you through ambushes. The collection therefore pairs naval exploration with movement and conflict on land across its two separate games.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
For players who want ship command and land exploration within two different Assassin–Templar stories.
Black Flag's cities, wrecks and upgradable ship offer different activities to pursue, while Rogue changes the protagonist's allegiance and introduces the risk of Assassin ambushes. This pairing may appeal most to players who enjoy moving between maritime exploration and conflict ashore.
Strengths
- The Jackdaw links ship upgrades to an activity with concrete naval targets.
- Rogue's hidden attackers may make hunting former comrades feel less one-sided.
Who it is for: Players interested in pirate settings, naval battles and exploring contrasting sides of the Assassin–Templar conflict.
