About this game
Princess Zelda sets out across Hyrule as mysterious rifts swallow its people. With the Tri Rod, she learns objects and recreates them as echoes to solve puzzles and get past obstacles. Connect beds into a crossing, use water blocks to reach higher ground, or summon a monster to fight alongside her. Objects encountered during the journey become tools for the next problem. Bind adds another way to manipulate the surroundings: a connected object can follow Zelda's movement, or Zelda can follow its motion instead. Combat also includes a temporary swordfighter form, replenished with energy from the Still World. Progress combines exploring Hyrule with choosing how to use these different powers against the terrain and enemies ahead.
Collected in series
The Legend of Zelda is Nintendo’s action-adventure series, which began in 1986. Link’s journeys often bring him together with Princess Zelda and into conflict with Ganon in the land of Hyrule. Exploration, puzzles and combat lie at its heart, with a curious detour often leading to a new discovery.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
An adventure likely to suit players who enjoy inventing uses for familiar objects.
Echoes make the choice of a tool part of both travel and combat, giving experiment-minded players a concrete reason to reconsider their surroundings. Bind broadens that reasoning to movement, while temporary swordplay introduces a resource-dependent alternative.
Strengths
- Beds and water blocks can make traversal a satisfying exercise in repurposing objects.
- Monster echoes offer room to approach combat through selection rather than direct attacks alone.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy trying object combinations and solving spatial problems during exploration.
Play notes: Swordfighter form does not last indefinitely; its energy is replenished in the Still World.
