About this game
Super Mario Party Jamboree alternates board-game turns with minigame contests. You roll dice to move towards Stars, earn coins by winning minigames and exchange those coins when you reach a Star purchase opportunity. The winner is whoever finishes with the most Stars. Boards range from a forest to a shopping mall, giving the competition different settings. Visiting Jamboree Buddies add another objective: win their Showdown Minigame to recruit an ally who can let you perform certain interactions twice, including buying Stars. Pursuing a buddy therefore competes with your immediate hunt for Stars. Pro Rules reveal the bonus-Star condition before play begins, giving you a known additional objective to plan around.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A fit for groups that enjoy minigame rivalry alongside a dice-driven contest for Stars.
Buddy recruitment can make a detour valuable because its reward changes later board interactions. The alternation between turns and minigames should particularly suit groups that enjoy both planning and direct competition.
Strengths
- Showdown victories can influence later Star purchases, giving minigame success a role beyond earning coins.
- An announced bonus-Star objective in Pro Rules can support more deliberate planning.
Weaknesses
- Dice-based movement can frustrate players who want their route plans to determine every outcome.
Who it is for: Groups interested in competing for board-game objectives while regularly switching to minigames.
Play notes: Motion minigames require Joy-Con controllers; Mario Party mode lets you disable those minigames.
