About this game
Scott and his friends battle the League of Evil Exes in a two-dimensional version of Toronto. Choose a playable character, fight through enemies and gain levels to learn new moves. Complete Edition brings together the remastered game and the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells add-on packs. Local cooperative play lets up to four players join or leave during the action, and teammates can revive one another. For a change from fighting together, Dodgeball provides a competitive minigame. Pixel-art animation and Anamanaguchi’s chiptune soundtrack frame the adventure, giving its comic-book characters a distinctly arcade-oriented presentation.
Collected in series
Scott Pilgrim games turn Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic universe into colorful brawling adventures. Close combat, exaggerated enemies and playful humor bring its mix of romance, music and video game fantasy to the streets.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Most appealing as a cooperative brawler for players who enjoy learning new moves together.
Character growth can give repeated fights a developing set of options, while reviving teammates creates a reason to pay attention to one another. Dodgeball offers a different social dynamic when the group wants competition instead of cooperation.
Strengths
- Learning moves through progression can give players a practical reason to keep developing a character.
- Reviving teammates makes cooperation more than simply attacking enemies at the same time.
Who it is for: Friends who enjoy cooperative fighting, character progression and occasional competitive side activities.
