About this game

Form a four-character party and choose combat skills before heading into battle. Attacking an enemy fills its stun gauge, opening a chance for a coordinated link attack; chaining the party's Skybound Arts produces a chain burst. Each character has different combat mechanics, so your party and equipped skills shape the actions available in a fight. The adventure unlocks quests ranging from boss encounters to surviving enemy hordes, playable offline or with an online group. Endless Ragnarok also introduces summons, including some you control directly after Lyria channels them, and the separate solo Conflux mode. Assist Mode supports story progression, while quest cooperation offers another way to bring the party together.

8.3 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

A promising fit for players who enjoy building a party around coordinated action.

Distinct fighting styles and linked attacks give party selection a purpose beyond choosing a favourite character. Boss quests and the solo Conflux offer different settings for that interest, although their structure alone cannot establish how satisfying the longer progression feels.

Strengths

  • Skill selection and party attack triggers offer concrete decisions for players who like coordinating combat.
  • Directly controlling certain summons could make calling an ally feel like a change of role, rather than only an added effect.

Who it is for: Players drawn to character-specific action, coordinated attacks and a choice between solo activities and cooperative quests.

Play notes: Local cooperation uses separate consoles over local wireless; it is not shared-screen multiplayer.

Unlocking quests during the adventure gives progression identifiable combat goals, while the solo Conflux provides a separate activity to pursue.

Taking control of a summoned ally could strengthen the sense of participating in its power instead of merely watching it arrive.

For action newcomers, the story's Assist Mode offers a supported route into the adventure without requiring a performance assumption.
