About this game

Choose a match format and work toward its particular finish. In a Dumpster Match, you must throw your opponent into the container and close the lid before they get out; an I Quit Match instead ends when you force a verbal submission. These rules change the immediate objective of the contest, beyond simply choosing which wrestlers face each other. The CM Punk Showcase revisits his rivalries while also presenting alternative historical scenarios. Universe gives you control over weekly shows, premium live events, rivalries and results, extending the activity from individual contests to arranging your own wrestling programme. Interactive entrances add another set of decisions: you can direct taunts, trigger pyrotechnics and play to the crowd. On Nintendo Switch 2, Joy-Con 2 mouse input is supported for menu navigation and Creations.

7.8 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

A fit for wrestling fans who want to shape both the finish and the show.

The different match finishes could reward players who enjoy adapting their objectives to wrestling stipulations. Universe offers a separate appeal for those who prefer arranging rivalries and results, while the CM Punk Showcase provides a more defined subject to follow. This assessment concerns those designs, rather than measured match feel.

Strengths

  • Dumpster and I Quit rules could give fans of stipulation matches distinct goals to build a contest around.
  • Control over shows, rivalries and results may suit players who enjoy booking their own wrestling stories.

Who it is for: Players interested in wrestling stipulations, CM Punk's career scenarios or directing a custom wrestling programme.

Play notes: Standard Edition contains the base game; premium-edition bonuses are separate. The game also includes optional purchases and paid random items.

Showcase supplies CM Punk-focused scenarios, while Universe leaves show planning and outcomes in your hands. Players can therefore choose between a defined theme and a self-directed wrestling programme.
