About this game
Each shot asks you to choose a club and shot type while considering the lie and wind. EvoSwing supports Swing Stick and 3-Click Swing, providing different ways to execute that plan. Perfect Swing ensures contact, leaving the course conditions and shot selection for you to consider rather than guaranteeing where the ball will finish. MyCAREER connects rounds to training and player development, with Attribute Point and Equipment Progression systems and an option to simulate rounds. Competition includes the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club. Away from career play, Course Designer lets you create and share layouts, while online Societies connect players across platforms. MyCAREER itself requires internet access and a 2K Account.
Collected in series
PGA Tour Golf is EA’s classic licensed golf line, built around planning shots, controlling swings and finishing a round in as few strokes as possible. Choosing a club and judging wind or the shape of a green can matter as much as the swing itself.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Suited to golfers who want shot planning with a choice of execution demands.
Perfect Swing can let players concentrate on clubs, lies and wind before mastering contact. Career development and course creation then offer different reasons to keep thinking about golf beyond the next shot.
Strengths
- Contact assistance can separate learning shot decisions from learning swing execution.
- Course Designer gives layout-minded players a creative activity alongside competition.
Weaknesses
- MyCAREER's internet requirement limits its usefulness as a disconnected solo project.
Who it is for: Players interested in course management, developing a golfer or designing their own layouts.
Play notes: Perfect Swing assists contact rather than guaranteeing the shot result. MyCAREER requires internet access and a 2K Account.
