About this game
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus puts you in BJ Blazkowicz's role as he fights to liberate an America under Nazi occupation. Its first-person campaign moves through places including Manhattan, Roswell and New Orleans. Guns can be carried in both hands and customized with modifications, while the hatchet provides a way to take down enemies silently. Your recurring combat choices include which guns to pair, how to modify them, and when to use a silent takedown. The Nintendo Switch version also offers optional motion aiming with Joy-Con or a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, letting wrist movements adjust your aim during the resistance campaign.
Collected in series
Wolfenstein follows the fight against Nazi forces through tense infiltration and explosive action. It began with overhead stealth before becoming known for first-person shooting; later games send B.J. Blazkowicz into an alternate history of towering machines and resistance fighters. Sneaking past danger and charging into it give the series different kinds of tension.

A fit for campaign-shooter players who enjoy choosing how to bring their weapons into a fight.
Dual wielding and gun modifications could give experimentation a place within the shooting. Silent hatchet takedowns offer a different approach to individual enemies, while the occupied-American setting provides a clear resistance premise.
Strengths
- Weapon pairing and modifications give players concrete combat setups to experiment with.
- Silent takedowns offer an alternative to opening an encounter with gunfire.
Who it is for: Players interested in an alternate-history resistance campaign and flexible weapon use.
