About this game
Wolfenstein: Youngblood follows Jess and Soph as they search Nazi-occupied Paris for their missing father. You play a first-person action campaign alone or with a friend, using a base in the city's catacombs to plan how and when to attack. That planning sits alongside the fighting, giving you decisions about your next operation. Exploring, completing missions and leveling unlock abilities, weapons and gadgets that let you develop your approach. Cosmetic unlocks also let you change your appearance. The recurring structure brings those decisions together: choose an operation, fight through its objectives and expand the tools available for subsequent missions.
Collected in series
Wolfenstein follows the fight against Nazi forces through tense infiltration and explosive action. It began with overhead stealth before becoming known for first-person shooting; later games send B.J. Blazkowicz into an alternate history of towering machines and resistance fighters. Sneaking past danger and charging into it give the series different kinds of tension.

A conditional fit for shooter players who enjoy mission planning and developing their combat toolkit.
The catacomb base and choices about when to attack suggest an experience that leaves room for planning between firefights. Unlocking abilities and equipment may particularly appeal to players who want their options to develop through missions, rather than approaching every encounter with the same tools.
Strengths
- Planning attacks provides a decision layer alongside first-person combat.
- Mission-driven unlocks give exploration and completion a concrete progression purpose.
Who it is for: Players interested in resistance-themed shooting, developing abilities and choosing operations, with solo or cooperative play as an option.
Play notes: Online play requires an internet connection and paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.
