About this game

Amadeus, Zoya and Pontius reunite against a Clockwork army in a 2.5D puzzle-platforming adventure. You switch heroes to apply different tools to the obstacles ahead: Amadeus summons boxes and moves objects, Zoya carries a bow and grappling hook, and Pontius brings his sword and shield. Moving through the environments involves choosing which character's abilities can address the next puzzle or fight. Character-specific skill quests develop those abilities as the adventure continues, while boss encounters sit alongside its puzzles and platforming. You can play alone or cooperate locally or online, with puzzle difficulty adapting to the number of participants. The same hero roles therefore form the basis for both individual problem solving and coordinating with a group.

8.4 / 10Nintendo Switch

A fit for players who enjoy solving traversal problems through complementary character abilities.

Distinct tools could make each obstacle an invitation to reconsider who should handle it. Skill quests and cooperative play offer different ways to engage with those roles, especially if discussing a solution is part of the appeal.

Strengths

  • Boxes, grappling equipment and sword-and-shield tools give the heroes clearly different problem-solving roles.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy ability-based puzzles, fantasy platforming and working out solutions with friends.

Play notes: Puzzle difficulty changes with the number of players, so solo and group sessions should not be assumed to present identical conditions.
