About this game
Grindstone turns color matching into a route-planning battle. Trace an attack through monsters of the same color, then pass through a grindstone to continue along another color. Longer chains deal more damage, so the task is to read the arrangement of enemies and decide how to connect them into an attack. The climb develops through new enemies, obstacles and items that complicate those decisions. Collected grindstones can be spent on crafted equipment, linking each stage's resources to your preparations for later encounters. Staying in a level also makes it more dangerous. The recurring choice is therefore about both the path you draw and how long you remain before leaving.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
For puzzle players who enjoy finding a better route without ignoring the cost of staying longer.
Color-changing grindstones make a chain's route more important than a simple matching group. Increasing danger adds a reason to stop, while equipment crafting gives collected resources a purpose beyond the current board.
Strengths
- Switching colors through grindstones opens room to connect attacks that initially look separate.
- Crafting turns collected resources into preparation choices for further progress.
Who it is for: Players who like tracing efficient puzzle routes and weighing another opportunity against a growing risk.
Play notes: Levels become more dangerous the longer you remain in them.
