About this game
Based on Hiroshi Motomiya’s manga, this console RPG follows armies led by generals rather than the arcade series’ fighting action. The party travels through China, speaks with people, examines places and prepares equipment before battle. Each general represents a force of soldiers. Combat proceeds in rounds, with attacks, tactics, defense and items as options. Designating a strategist gives tactics a place in party organization, while experience earned in battles expands tactical possibilities.
Collected in series
Tenchi wo Kurau brings Hiroshi Motomiya’s Three Kingdoms manga into Capcom games with two distinct approaches. Its role-playing adventures ask you to build an army and choose battle commands, while the arcade branch puts weapons, throws and crowds of soldiers directly under your control.
