About this game
Travel with Liu Bei’s army, talk in towns and equip generals before entering command-based battles. A general’s remaining soldiers determine whether they can keep fighting; suitable terrain and usable weapon types also matter when arranging the group. Appointing a strategist provides the strategies available to the army, but using them spends strategy points. Inns restore soldiers and those points, while officials record progress. Preparation and recovery therefore sit alongside the decisions within each battle.
Collected in series
Tenchi wo Kurau brings Hiroshi Motomiya’s Three Kingdoms manga into Capcom games with two distinct approaches. Its role-playing adventures ask you to build an army and choose battle commands, while the arcade branch puts weapons, throws and crowds of soldiers directly under your control.
