About this game
Splatoon Raiders follows a mechanic and Deep Cut after they crash-land on the Spirhalite Islands. Head out to find treasure, fight Salmonid waves with ink weapons and gadgets, and bring loot back to improve your equipment. Choosing a tank determines your gadget options, with approaches built around power, mobility or controlling the battlefield. A Deep Cut member accompanies raids in a robot that responds to your commands. The adventure focuses on solo play, but treasure hunts also support up to four players online or through local wireless, using additional games and systems. Difficulty can be changed during the adventure without changing the loot awarded. Online play requires internet access, a Nintendo Account and Nintendo Switch Online.
Collected in series
Splatoon is Nintendo’s action series where colorful ink is both a weapon and a way around the battlefield. Spray the ground, change form and swim through your team’s ink to move or hide; Turf War rewards the team that covers more ground, while other modes add their own objectives.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising direction for players who want ink combat tied to expedition preparation and upgrades.
Returning with loot creates a reason to reconsider equipment before setting out again, which could appeal to players who enjoy refining a combat setup. Tank-specific gadgets and a commandable companion add preparation and coordination choices to fighting enemy waves.
Strengths
- Recovered loot gives equipment experimentation a direct connection to expeditions.
- Difficulty changes preserve loot, allowing challenge adjustments without sacrificing that reward structure.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy battling enemy waves, adjusting equipment and progressing through repeated expeditions.
Play notes: Multiplayer needs additional games and systems; online sessions also require internet, a Nintendo Account and Nintendo Switch Online.
