About this game
In Snipperclips, your characters are also your tools. Overlap Snip and Clip, rotate their bodies and make a cut to create the shape a puzzle needs. An outline asks you to fit both bodies into place; a balloon calls for a pointed shape; a basketball needs to reach its basket. Choosing where to cut is only part of the task: the resulting shapes still need to be positioned and used. World mode takes you through puzzles alone or with a partner. Solo play lets you switch characters, while cooperative play divides their control. Undoing a cut or restoring a body lets you revise an idea. Party mode extends cooperation to a group, and Blitz turns the same paper characters toward competition.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for players who enjoy explaining and testing puzzle ideas together.
Turning a partner's body into a tool gives cooperation a concrete purpose: agree on a shape, cut it and put it to work. The ability to undo or restore shapes should make experimentation more inviting for players willing to revise their plans.
Strengths
- Reversible cuts offer room to test a proposed solution without keeping an unwanted shape.
Weaknesses
- Shared control may frustrate partners who prefer to act independently rather than coordinate positioning.
Who it is for: Players interested in spatial puzzles, collaborative problem solving or solo control of a paired puzzle.
Play notes: This overview covers the original game; Plus content is separate DLC. Local multiplayer requires a compatible controller for each player.
