About this game
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown follows Sargon through Mount Qaf, a cursed world inspired by Persia. Fight enemies with time powers and acrobatic movement, parry incoming attacks, and slide away from danger. Equipping amulets changes your capabilities, but their limited allowance makes choosing a combination part of preparing for the next encounter. Exploration develops alongside your abilities. Newly acquired powers open routes you could not previously reach, while puzzles give you another reason to examine the mountain's different environments. You can attach screenshots of locations to the map, preserving a visual reminder of places to revisit. Combat, traversal and the growing map form the recurring work of the adventure.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for players who want movement mastery to feed directly into exploration.
Ability-gated routes give new powers a purpose beyond combat, making returning to an earlier location potentially rewarding. Amulet limits add preparation choices, while parries and evasive movement leave room for execution to matter.
Strengths
- Map screenshots can make unfinished exploration easier to resume without relying entirely on memory.
- A limited amulet allowance gives players a reason to adapt their setup instead of simply equipping every benefit.
Weaknesses
- Players who prefer continuous forward movement may find revisiting ability-gated routes less appealing.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy combining action practice with the gradual discovery of an interconnected space.
