About this game
Build a plant defense across the backyard's lanes and stop incoming waves of zombies. Replanted brings back the original Plants vs. Zombies with upscaled HD graphics and added bonus levels. Where you place defenders matters to the lane-based setup, while the familiar backyard provides the setting for each confrontation. There are several ways to vary the task. Cloudy Day limits sunlight for planting, while Rest In Peace applies permadeath to Adventure, potentially sending a failed attempt back to the beginning. Wall-Nut Bowling supplies a minigame alternative to the main defense mode. You can also defend together in local co-op or compete in local versus play, where players can take control of zombies.
Collected in series
Plants vs. Zombies makes garden defense a comic battle of unlikely opponents. In the strategy games, you arrange plants to stop zombies advancing along lanes; the Garden Warfare branch puts you directly in control of plants and zombies in team shooters.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A garden-defense option for players who enjoy adjusting plant placement and trying different constraints on the same basic task.
Lane defense and Cloudy Day's limited sunlight could reward thinking about where a plant will help most. Local cooperation and zombie-controlled versus play offer different ways to approach the backyard, while Rest In Peace specifically serves players willing to risk losing an Adventure attempt.
Strengths
- Sunlight-limited planting can turn a familiar defense task into a more constrained planning problem.
- Co-op defense and zombie-controlled versus play may suit different kinds of shared play.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy defensive placement, optional rule variations and either cooperating or competing locally.
Play notes: Rest In Peace is an optional permadeath mode: failure can return an Adventure attempt to the beginning.
