About this game

Pokémon Pokopia puts you in the role of a Ditto transformed into a human shape. Learn moves from the Pokémon you meet and use them to change the environment: Bulbasaur's Leafage grows grass, while Squirtle's Water Gun waters withered patches. Placing the required quantities of grass, rocks and other objects together creates habitats that can bring Pokémon to your town. Gather materials to craft furniture and arrange living spaces, then work with befriended Pokémon on important wishes concerning the town's environment. These activities connect meeting Pokémon with learning new ways to develop their surroundings. The game's time follows real-world time. GameShare also lets two people play from one copy hosted on Nintendo Switch 2, within its designated sharing area.

8.6 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

A likely fit for players who want meeting Pokémon to lead into habitat design and everyday town projects.

Learning environmental moves from Pokémon may make new encounters feel useful to the place you are building. Habitat arrangements and town-level wishes combine personal construction choices with explicit goals, a structure that may appeal to players who enjoy both decorating and helping residents.

Strengths

  • Learning moves from Pokémon can connect new friendships with new ways to change the environment.
  • Habitat requirements give construction-minded players concrete arrangements to pursue alongside furniture placement.

Weaknesses

  • The real-world clock link may be less appealing to players who prefer their virtual world's time to be independent of their own schedule.

Who it is for: Players drawn to habitat planning, furniture crafting and developing a town through relationships with Pokémon.

Play notes: GameShare is limited to its designated town area, and guests receiving the game can play only while the sharing session remains active.

One-copy GameShare may lower the access barrier for a guest, but its area restriction makes it a bounded shared activity rather than unrestricted access to the adventure.
