About this game

PICO PARK 2 gives a group a shared task: carry the stage's key to the door, then get everyone out. Basic movement and jumping are the starting point for solving its 2D stages together. Layouts change with the number of participants, and you can play with two to eight people locally or online. Alongside cooperative stage clearing, ENDLESS mode turns teamwork toward high scores, while BATTLE switches the group to competition. DARK mode records failed attempts on each stage's starting screen. The cat characters can also wear hats, adding a choice of appearance to the shared adventure.

8.2 / 10Nintendo Switch

A good fit when your group wants solving a puzzle to include getting everyone moving together.

Simple basic actions leave room for the group to discuss timing and shared movement. Competitive BATTLE and cooperative score chasing give the same gathering different ways to play.

Strengths

  • Player-count adjustments let different-sized groups tackle the stages together.
  • Cooperative and competitive modes let a group change its shared objective.

Who it is for: Friends who enjoy coordinating jumps, discussing a solution and reaching the goal together.

Play notes: Play requires at least two participants. Online sessions also require internet access and Nintendo Switch Online.
