About this game
PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC rebuilds the original PAC-MAN WORLD adventure around a rescue trip to Ghost Island. Work through themed areas such as pirate territory, ruins and space, clearing stages on the way to their boss challenges. PAC-MAN’s butt-bounce attacks enemies, opens chests and presses switches, while his rev-roll handles slopes and ramming attacks. Searching for hidden keys lets you free kidnapped family members and friends. Alongside the main Quest Mode, Maze Mode offers three-dimensional mazes; clearing the main quest unlocks the original PAC-MAN game. If the same Quest Mode stage defeats you repeatedly, the game offers Easy Mode, providing an alternative when a particular stretch holds up your progress.
Collected in series
Pac-Man turns eating dots and escaping ghosts into a game of routes, timing and sudden reversals. Its maze-chase roots have grown into inventive score challenges and platform adventures, giving the familiar yellow character different ways to explore and outwit enemies.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A clear fit for players who enjoy using a compact move set to explore stages and uncover rescues.
Giving the butt-bounce both combat and environmental jobs can make learning a move useful across different situations. Hidden rescue keys add an exploration goal, while area-ending bosses provide milestones for players who prefer a staged adventure.
Strengths
- The same movement tools serve traversal, combat and interaction.
- Rescue keys give looking beyond the route forward a concrete purpose.
Weaknesses
- Players mainly interested in the original arcade game must first clear Quest Mode to unlock it.
Who it is for: Players drawn to stage-based platforming, environmental interactions and searching for hidden rescue items.
Play notes: Easy Mode is offered after repeated failures in the same Quest Mode stage; the original PAC-MAN game is a completion unlock.
