About this game
No More Heroes 3 sends Travis Touchdown into the Galactic Superhero Rankings to confront an alien invasion. Combat combines Beam Katana attacks with wrestling techniques and Death Glove powers that can slow enemies or knock them away. Equippable chips add effects to support combat or exploration. Reaching the next ranked opponent also takes money. Travis earns entry fees through fighting and volunteer work, including mowing lawns and unblocking toilets. Text-adventure side stories accompany the main conflict, while the Switch version offers a choice of button controls or Joy-Con motion input. Progress therefore moves between preparing for a ranked match and taking on its opponent.
Collected in series
No More Heroes follows Travis Touchdown, an otaku assassin whose beam katana and wrestling moves carry him through bizarre ranking battles. Outrageous opponents, odd jobs and irreverent humor give its action a personality all its own.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for action players who enjoy absurd detours between boss encounters.
Sword attacks, wrestling and enemy-disrupting powers suggest room to vary how you approach a fight. Earning entry fees through everyday chores gives that combat an intentionally incongruous setting, but also makes the route to bosses indirect.
Strengths
- Death Glove powers and chip effects offer decisions beyond simply repeating sword attacks.
Weaknesses
- Players seeking uninterrupted boss combat may find the entry-fee preparation an unwelcome diversion.
Who it is for: Action fans who like experimenting with combat tools and are receptive to lawn-mowing and toilet jobs sharing space with an alien invasion.
