About this game
Hades II sends Melinoë into repeated battles against the forces of the Titan of Time. Place a Cast to slow enemies within its circle, then use weapons and Magick-powered Omega moves to attack. Boons from the gods shape your abilities during a run, but those temporary benefits reset when you are defeated. Progress also happens between attempts. Materials gathered on your journey unlock Arcana cards that remain available after defeat, while setbacks and accomplishments both contribute to the unfolding story. Hand-painted environments and voiced characters frame this cycle of combat and return. An optional God Mode provides assistance for players who want help continuing the journey.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A strong conceptual fit for action players who enjoy rebuilding a strategy after each defeat.
The Cast and Magick-powered attacks make enemy placement and resource use part of the combat proposition. Persistent Arcana and a story that develops across attempts should give experimentation a longer-term purpose, provided you enjoy rebuilding temporary boons.
Strengths
- A slowing circle offers a tactical tool alongside weapon attacks and Magick spending.
- Persistent Arcana gives gathered materials value beyond an unsuccessful attempt.
Weaknesses
- Losing run-specific boons may frustrate players who want to keep a favored setup permanently.
Who it is for: Players interested in action combat, changing ability combinations and progress accumulated across repeated attempts.
Play notes: Defeat resets run-specific boons, while acquired Arcana cards persist.
