About this game

Rindo’s encounter with a mysterious pin draws him into the Reapers’ Game, a struggle for survival on the streets of Shibuya. You lead his team through its missions, including battles against creatures called Noise. Defeating these enemies can yield more pins, expanding the abilities available to your group. Each teammate equips a pin, and its assigned button activates a particular psychic power. Changing the loadout changes your mix of attacks, healing and support. Used-up pins need time to recharge, while a follow-up during a Beatdrop opportunity builds Groove toward a Mashup attack. Preparing the team and coordinating its moves are therefore connected parts of combat. Comic-style storytelling frames the journey through this urban setting.

8.3 / 10Nintendo Switch

A promising fit for players who enjoy designing a team’s moves and coordinating them in action.

Pin selection and Beatdrop timing suggest combat that rewards both preparation and attention to teammates’ attacks. Collecting abilities from Noise gives battles a practical connection to further loadout experimentation.

Strengths

  • Interchangeable attack, healing and support pins provide concrete reasons to rethink the team’s setup.
  • Timed follow-ups can give coordinated attacks a clear payoff through Groove and Mashups.

Who it is for: Players interested in urban fantasy and experimenting with linked team abilities.

Play notes: Pin recharge means a preferred attack cannot be used continuously; rotating available abilities is part of the combat tradeoff.
