About this game
Mini Motorways puts the city's road network in your hands. Draw roads, revise existing routes and choose upgrades such as motorways and roundabouts to meet changing traffic demands. As the city grows, the network needs to grow and be reconsidered with it. Maps take visual inspiration from real cities around the world. Different modes change the planning problem. Endless Mode lets construction continue after game over, while Expert Mode introduces permanent roads and limited upgrades. Creative Mode provides building-editing tools, including color changes and deletion, so you can alter the city itself. Colorblind and dark palettes are available, and Disasterpeace's soundtrack responds to the city's development.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A strong conceptual fit for players who enjoy revising systems as their demands change.
A growing city turns road planning into an ongoing problem rather than a layout to finish once. The choice between continued building, stricter Expert rules and Creative editing should help players choose what kind of planning they want to pursue.
Strengths
- Changing traffic demands can make revisiting an earlier road layout feel purposeful.
- Creative building tools let players experiment with the problem's layout as well as its road solution.
Weaknesses
- Expert Mode's permanent roads may frustrate players who rely on freely undoing earlier layout decisions.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy traffic networks, revising plans and choosing between constrained challenges and open-ended construction.
