About this game

Kirby and the Forgotten Land sends Kirby through a world where remnants of civilization meet nature. Inhale enemies to copy their abilities, explore 3D stages and rescue captured Waddle Dees. Mouthful Mode gives objects a different role in the adventure: take control of a car and break through walls. Defeating bosses opens further areas to explore. Rescues also help rebuild Waddle Dee Town and unlock its features. Bring discovered blueprints to the Weapons Shop to evolve Copy Abilities, or take on timed Treasure Road challenges for Rare Stones. A second player on the same system can join as Bandana Waddle Dee, while the difficulty options let you choose between Wild mode and the more forgiving Spring-Breeze mode.

9.1 / 10Nintendo Switch

A fit for players who enjoy trying new actions while making discoveries count toward visible progress.

Copied abilities and car-based Mouthful Mode give exploration different kinds of action to try. Rescues developing the town and blueprints evolving abilities may make searching feel connected to preparation for later stages.

Strengths

  • Enemy copying and object transformations offer distinct ways to interact with the adventure.
  • Town development gives rescuing Waddle Dees a consequence beyond clearing a stage.

Who it is for: Players who enjoy exploring stages, experimenting with abilities and sharing an adventure on one system.

Play notes: Two-player cooperation is on the same system; it does not support online or local wireless play.
