About this game
Heave Ho makes grabbing and swinging the means of crossing its courses. Catch a platform or another character, build a chain of players and reach across gaps while avoiding spikes and the void. Maps grow more demanding as you progress, making the choice of where to hold on and when to let go central to reaching the other side. Up to four players can cooperate on the same console or compete in versus mode's dedicated levels. Character accessories change your appearance, but they cannot save a missed grab: crossing the course still comes down to the hands holding the chain together.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A fit for groups that enjoy coordinating a shared crossing and accepting shared mistakes.
Holding another player makes a simple crossing depend on several people's timing, which can turn coordination into the main attraction. That same dependence may frustrate players who prefer every mistake to remain their own.
Strengths
- Chains make teammates part of the route, creating room for improvised cooperation.
- Dedicated versus courses offer a different use for the same grabbing skills.
Weaknesses
- A missed grip can endanger teammates, which may test groups with little tolerance for collective failure.
Who it is for: Friends who enjoy talking through movement problems and adapting to one another's timing.
Play notes: Multiplayer coverage here concerns couch cooperation and versus play.
