About this game

Good Job! turns a climb through a company into a series of office puzzles. Different floors introduce new jobs and tools, from watering plants to moving containers. The solution is open to experimentation: a projector can go through the doorway, or straight through the wall. Completing a task earns an evaluation that considers both time and damage. Replay stages to refine your approach, or invite a second player to help with the work. Local cooperation supports sharing the Joy-Con controllers; two-player play uses TV or tabletop mode, while handheld play is for one person.

8.1 / 10Nintendo Switch

A good match for players who enjoy testing mischievous solutions to practical problems.

Multiple solutions make experimentation central to the office tasks. Evaluations then create a reason to reconsider whether a spectacular shortcut was worth its damage.

Strengths

  • Destructive and careful solutions give experimentation a concrete purpose.
  • Retrying for a better evaluation can turn an improvised solution into a more deliberate plan.

Weaknesses

  • Players focused on improving evaluations may find reckless destruction conflicts with that goal.

Who it is for: Players who like environmental puzzles, playful experimentation and local cooperation.

Play notes: Two-player cooperation uses TV or tabletop mode; handheld mode supports one player.
