About this game
Reynn and Lann enter Grymoire while searching for their missing memories. Recruit its monsters, known as Mirages, and build battle formations by stacking them together. The siblings can change size to carry their companions or ride on them, and different stacks yield different abilities. Towns and dungeons draw on places from across FINAL FANTASY. MAXIMA expands this adventure with Avatar Change: the siblings take the forms of series heroes and use their individual abilities in battle. A fishing minigame featuring Noctis offers another activity along the way. The central loop remains meeting Mirages, arranging your companions and using their combinations as you continue the journey.
Collected in series
Final Fantasy is a role-playing series created by Square in 1987, built around fantastical journeys, memorable characters and growing stronger together. Most numbered entries introduce their own world and cast. From crystals and magic to cities where machinery meets fantasy, each adventure offers a different view.
