About this game

TRIANGLE STRATEGY places you in command of Serenoa and his companions amid the conflict on Norzelia. In battle, position characters according to their roles, including using elevated ground for ranged attacks. At the Encampment, the Tavern offers mock battles for further practice. Decisions outside combat also shape the journey. Your choices and actions build convictions that affect story branches and the companions who join you. Major decisions go to a party vote: talk with allies and try to persuade them, drawing on information that town exploration can uncover. The adventure therefore develops through both battlefield decisions and the positions you take in conversation, presented through a blend of pixel art and three-dimensional scenery.

9.1 / 10Nintendo Switch

For tactical RPG players who want persuasion to matter alongside positioning.

Role-based positioning and elevation give battlefield plans concrete spatial considerations. Party voting adds another kind of strategy, potentially making a chosen direction feel negotiated rather than simply selected.

Strengths

  • Elevation gives ranged characters a specific positional role to plan around.
  • Information gathered through exploration can give conversations a practical purpose before a vote.

Weaknesses

  • Players who want sole control over major choices may find party voting an unwelcome constraint.

Who it is for: Players interested in tactical positioning, branching stories and listening to companions before arguing for a course of action.
