About this game

Trials Rising asks you to keep a motorbike balanced while crossing gaps, landing on small platforms and navigating stunt-course obstacles. Checkpoints divide the courses into sections, while events build your rider's Fame. As that reputation grows, sponsors offer optional Contracts with additional goals and rewards, adding objectives beyond getting through a course. The courses take their action to settings such as the Eiffel Tower and a flying cargo plane. A track editor lets players create and share their own courses. Local Tandem Bike play changes the control arrangement: two riders contribute to the power and balance of one motorcycle, coordinating their inputs as they tackle its obstacles together.

7.9 / 10Nintendo Switch

Best suited to players who enjoy solving obstacles through timing and balance.

Physics-based jumps and small landing spaces may reward players who like refining a maneuver rather than merely reaching the finish. Sponsor goals add a second focus, while Tandem Bike makes coordination itself part of the challenge.

Strengths

  • Balancing through jumps and small platforms gives each obstacle a concrete skill focus.
  • Shared Tandem Bike control can turn an individual maneuver into a coordination problem.

Weaknesses

  • Players who dislike repeated adjustment may find the balance-dependent obstacles demanding.

Who it is for: Players interested in precision riding, optional challenge goals or cooperative coordination on one bike.

Play notes: This draft covers the base game; separately listed expansions are not assumed to be included.
