About this game
Torchlight III centers on fighting through dungeons and collecting weapons and armor for your hero. Choose a class and combine it with a Relic subclass, then spend skill points to unlock or improve the Relic's active and passive abilities. Equipment and these build choices develop alongside your battles. Pets accompany you in combat and have their own skills and gear to strengthen. They also carry items and can sell them in town on your behalf. Away from the dungeon fighting, you can customize a personal fort; different pet colors and styles provide another way to personalize the adventuring party.
Collected in series
Torchlight sends adventurers into a colorful fantasy world of monsters, equipment and ever-changing character builds. Fighting brings new loot, which opens another reason to adjust skills and head back out. The early main games also give you animal companions, adding a friendly presence to the dungeon crawl.

Strengths
- Relic abilities give class-based builds another layer of active and passive choices.
- Pets combine combat development with an item-selling function that may reduce inventory errands.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy collecting equipment, refining character builds and investing in animal companions.
