About this game
Lead recruited allies through turn-based battles in the HD remasters of Suikoden I and II. Front and rear rows interact with weapon range, so party placement affects who can attack which enemy. Your growing roster also develops a castle headquarters, including services provided by recruits. Duels replace party commands with choices informed by an opponent's dialogue. Updated backgrounds, a conversation log and battle fast-forward accompany the adventures. This separately sold Switch 2 edition can receive a save from the Switch version only when played save data does not already exist in the destination edition; transfer back is unavailable. The physical edition uses a game-key card requiring a download.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A fit for players who want recruitment to shape both battles and a growing home base.
Weapon reach and party rows could make assembling allies a practical tactical exercise. Their roles at headquarters give recruitment another purpose, while dialogue-based duels offer a change from managing a whole party.
Strengths
- Recruitment can affect both combat options and headquarters services.
- Weapon range gives front and rear placement a concrete consequence.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy building a roster and thinking through command-based battles.
Play notes: This is separately sold, with no upgrade pass from the Switch edition. Save transfer is one-way and requires no existing played save in the destination; physical copies require a download.
