About this game

BLUE REFLECTION Quartet brings together the original game, RAY, SUN and Second Light. Their stories take different playable forms: Hinako gathers emotional Fragments to prepare for battles in the original, while RAY sends Hiori and Ruka through the Common to collect Memory Shards that reveal additional stories. SUN combines academy exploration and conversations with students with selected battles rebuilt using Second Light's combat system. In Second Light, Ao and her companions explore the Heartscape while confronting the mystery of lost memories. A REFERENCE database lets you consult character relationships across the series, and a Gallery presents Mel Kishida's illustrations. The original entry gains autosave, while Second Light offers an increased battle-speed feature.

7.3 / 10Nintendo Switch 2

A series collection for players who want to connect its characters across different forms of storytelling.

Shard collection, school conversations and reconstructed battles may make following the cast as important as combat itself. The relationship database can help readers connect the separate entries without treating them as one uniform game.

Strengths

  • Playable adaptations and a shared relationship database can offer a useful route through stories originally told in different media.

Who it is for: Players interested in character relationships who welcome exploration, conversations and combat taking different roles across a collection.

Play notes: The separately sold Nintendo Switch version cannot exchange save data with this Nintendo Switch 2 version.
