About this game
Spyro Reignited Trilogy gathers Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. You explore three-dimensional fantasy environments, glide across gaps and use fire breath against enemies. Gem collecting is part of the first adventure, while the collection also brings back the trilogy's minigames and side quests. The original characters and environments receive updated graphics, but the journey still spans three distinct adventures. Progress is recorded automatically at checkpoints. The controls menu also offers Retro and Reignited settings, giving returning players a choice of control configuration.
Collected in series
Spyro the Dragon centres on a purple dragon whose fire breath, charging attacks and gliding turn fantasy worlds into playgrounds for exploration. Collecting and discovering routes define the classic adventures, while The Legend of Spyro branch puts more emphasis on action combat.

A promising fit for players who enjoy exploring with movement as much as fighting.
Gliding and gem hunting give exploration concrete actions, which may appeal to players who like checking a space beyond its immediate route. Minigames and side quests offer changes of activity across the trilogy.
Strengths
- Gliding can make reaching another platform part of the pleasure of exploring.
- Three adventures provide different contexts for the returning side activities.
Who it is for: Players drawn to fantasy platforming, collectible hunting and occasional diversions.
