About this game
Cody and May have become dolls, and their troubled marriage provides the opening premise for a cooperative platform adventure. Each player takes one character, working with the other through challenges built around changing, connected abilities. In one sequence, the responsibilities split between piloting a plane and fighting a squirrel. The adventure develops by introducing new character abilities in its levels, asking both players to learn how their roles connect. Split-screen play keeps the two characters' actions visible, including during online cooperation. On Nintendo Switch, you can also play together on one console or connect two consoles through local wireless. Friend's Pass lets an owner invite a partner into the full adventure under its installation and account conditions; online play requires both players to have Nintendo Switch Online.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Likely to suit a pair who enjoy learning new roles together and talking through shared obstacles.
Connected abilities and divided responsibilities could make communication an active part of play. Introducing new abilities across levels may sustain interest for partners who enjoy adapting, while the mandatory pairing makes a reliable companion important.
Strengths
- Linked abilities can give both partners a reason to explain what they can do and coordinate the next step.
- Changing abilities may appeal to pairs who prefer learning fresh interactions as the adventure develops.
Weaknesses
- The requirement for two players may be restrictive when a partner is unavailable.
Who it is for: Pairs interested in cooperative platform adventures, changing responsibilities and a story about a strained relationship.
Play notes: There is no solo route through this two-player design. Online play requires Nintendo Switch Online for both players; using Friend's Pass for the full adventure also requires one full-game owner, pass installation and an applicable platform account.
