About this game
Spiritfarer puts you in charge of a boat carrying spirits to the afterlife. You play Stella, welcoming animal-like passengers and helping them work through the regrets they bring aboard. Their stories develop during the voyage, leading toward the time when each is ready to depart. Caring for them involves concrete work. Arrange cabins and facilities, cultivate onboard fields, fish for ingredients and prepare meals your passengers enjoy. You can also offer a hug: tending to someone here extends beyond providing a room and food. The boat combines these practical activities with the passengers' individual stories. Optional local cooperation lets another player join the journey as Daffodil, Stella's cat.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A voyage for players who find meaning in caring routines and stories of letting go.
Preparing a passenger's food and helping with their regrets can make management feel personal. The same design asks you to value everyday care as part of the story, rather than treating it only as work between conversations.
Strengths
- Passenger preferences can give cooking a personal purpose.
- Boat layout offers a practical way to shape the passengers' shared home.
Weaknesses
- If you mainly want uninterrupted storytelling, growing food and preparing meals may feel like detours.
Who it is for: Players interested in arranging a living space and expressing care through small actions.
Play notes: Death and farewell are central themes of the passengers' journey.
