About this game
You wake up as a Pokémon and join a partner to help others in trouble. Rescue Team DX remakes Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team in one adventure, using a picture-book visual style. Accept rescue jobs, assemble companions and head into changing dungeons, where encounters use turn-based battles. Different Pokémon bring different moves, making party selection part of preparing for the next expedition. Completing requests earns rescue points and raises your team rank. Between outings, bank money and store items to protect them from losses if a dungeon attempt ends in defeat. Auto mode can handle movement through a dungeon, but switches off when an enemy comes close. Exploration, preparation and choosing battle actions remain linked throughout the rescue work.
Collected in series
Pokémon is a role-playing series that began in 1996. As a Trainer, you travel the world meeting, catching and raising Pokémon. Filling your Pokédex, building a team and taking on rivals shape the adventure, while trading with friends brings new partners along for the journey.

Nintendo SwitchAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A fit for players who enjoy preparing a party and adapting to changing dungeon routes.
Different moves and turn-based encounters could make companion choice matter as much as the next action. Rescue points give repeated assignments a team-development purpose, while resource-loss rules make preparation worth considering.
Strengths
- Companion moves, battle choices and protected town storage give expedition planning several concrete decisions.
Weaknesses
- Changing dungeons may appeal less to players who prefer memorizing and mastering a fixed route.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy Pokémon party building, turn-based decisions and a recurring cycle of preparation and rescue jobs.
Play notes: Carried money and items can be lost on defeat; depositing valuables before departure protects them.
