About this game
Persona 3 Portable follows a student whose everyday choices sit alongside battles during the mysterious Dark Hour. After school, spend time with people, take a part-time job or study. Building relationships establishes Social Links, while the choice of protagonist opens different social possibilities. In Tartarus, fight Shadows through turn-based commands using weapons and Personas. Strike a weakness to knock an enemy down and gain another action; bring every opponent down to create an opening for an All-Out Attack. Fuse acquired Personas to create new ones as you develop your combat options. This remaster also provides quick saving away from designated save points and difficulty choices that leave the story unchanged.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for players who want relationship choices alongside battles built around exploiting weaknesses.
If you enjoy planning an attack sequence, weakness knockdowns and the All-Out Attack opening give each command a purpose beyond dealing damage. The school-life choices offer a different focus between expeditions, provided you also enjoy spending time on relationships.
Strengths
- Extra actions and the group-attack opening can make identifying weaknesses a satisfying tactical objective.
- Different protagonist perspectives offer a reason to consider which social side of the game interests you.
Weaknesses
- Players interested only in dungeon combat may find the intervening study, work and relationship choices divert their attention.
Who it is for: Players drawn to social role-playing and deliberate command battles rather than continuous action.
