About this game

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl brings cartoon characters into platform-fighting matches. Select a fighter such as SpongeBob, Michelangelo or Leonardo and use a move set drawn from that character's personality. Battles take place in themed locations including Jellyfish Field and the Technodrome, and up to four players can compete together on one system. Character choice changes the attacks at your disposal. Ren and Stimpy, for example, function as a single fighter and can throw a bouncing log with their neutral special. Switching fighters means learning another set of moves while taking the action into different cartoon settings. This entry covers the original game; the Universe Pack appears separately as downloadable content.

7.4 / 10Nintendo Switch

A character-led choice for cartoon fans who want to learn fighters together locally.

Personality-based attacks make choosing a favourite character a potential starting point for learning a move set. Local matches give a group a shared setting for that experimentation, while cartoon locations add another layer of recognition.

Strengths

  • Character-specific moves can make switching fighters feel like exploring another part of the cartoons.
  • Same-system battles offer a clear route to playing with a local group.

Who it is for: Nickelodeon fans interested in platform combat and groups who can organise local matches.

Play notes: The original game lists the Universe Pack separately as DLC; it is not the Ultimate Edition package.
