About this game

Choose a character from the world of Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- and fight through their individual Story. Rapid Beat turns repeated attack-button presses into a combo. A successful Shield opens a counterattack, giving defense its own route back into offense. Resource use adds another decision to each encounter. Magic Circuit can fund EX Specials or Heat, while Moon Skills draw on the Moon Icons beside your life gauge. Training offers tutorials, missions and free practice for learning these systems before applying them in fights. Character pairings also change the battle dialogue, connecting the confrontations to relationships within the cast.

8.2 / 10Nintendo Switch

Likely to suit players who want an approachable combo entry point alongside defensive counters and resource decisions.

Rapid Beat can reduce the initial burden of constructing an attack sequence, leaving room to explore Shield timing and gauge expenditure. Character stories and targeted practice offer different reasons to return to the same fighter.

Strengths

  • Shield Counter can make a successful defensive read feel like an opportunity to take initiative.
  • Separate Magic Circuit and Moon resources can reward thinking beyond the next combo.

Weaknesses

  • The absence of cross-platform battles can limit plans to play with friends using another system.

Who it is for: Players interested in Tsukihime characters who also enjoy practicing counters and choosing when to spend combat resources.

Play notes: Online play on Nintendo Switch requires an internet connection and Nintendo Switch Online membership.
