About this game
Pick a character and combine directional inputs with attack buttons to perform their special moves. Sol's Gun-Flame uses a quarter-circle-forward motion and Punch, while Axl's Rensen Geki requires holding back before pressing forward and Slash. Training provides a place to practise, while Story, Mission and local VS.2P offer different activities around the fighting. This release also includes the Korean-version #RELOAD soundtrack and an options-menu choice to play the earlier ACCENT CORE version.
Collected in series
Guilty Gear is Arc System Works’ fighting series built around striking characters with very different ways to fight. Fast exchanges, expressive animation and room to improvise make choosing a fighter and learning their rhythm central to the experience.

AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Command-based fighting for players who enjoy practising a character and arranging local duels.
Sol's motion command and Axl's charged move show how character choice changes the inputs to learn. Training and the separate Story and Mission modes may suit players who want several ways to focus a session.
Strengths
- Different command types can give character selection a meaningful practice dimension.
- Story and Mission alongside local versus may suit players who like changing their session's goal.
Weaknesses
- Motion and charge inputs may require unwanted practice if you prefer single-button special attacks.
Who it is for: Players interested in rehearsing character-specific commands and mixing solo modes with local competition.
Play notes: The options also offer ACCENT CORE, so select the intended game version when setting up play.
