About this game
METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2 includes MGS4: Guns of the Patriots and the HD Edition of Peace Walker, with Ghost Babel as a bonus game. In MGS4, staying still against a wall or on the ground lets OctoCamo copy the surrounding surface. The Threat Ring also visualizes nearby danger while you crouch or lie down. Peace Walker develops through selected missions. Neutralize soldiers without killing them, recover them with the Fulton system and add them to Mother Base's staff; increasing that staff develops the base. Some cutscenes ask for actions that can change how the scene proceeds. Cooperative online play is available in eligible Peace Walker missions, while the collection's MGS4 excludes METAL GEAR ONLINE.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A collection for stealth players interested in both situational concealment and building a force between missions.
OctoCamo makes stillness and position part of concealment, while Peace Walker ties nonlethal recovery to staff growth. Those designs may suit players who enjoy thinking about both an immediate encounter and what it contributes to a wider operation.
Strengths
- Camouflage and threat information give observation a concrete role in MGS4 infiltration.
- Recovering living soldiers connects Peace Walker encounters with Mother Base development.
Who it is for: Players drawn to positional stealth, mission selection and recruiting a force through nonlethal captures.
Play notes: Online cooperation applies to eligible Peace Walker missions and requires Nintendo Switch Online. MGS4's METAL GEAR ONLINE is not included.
