About this game
Hitman: Blood Money is a PC shooter game centered on aiming and shooting, positioning and evasion, and weapon and firepower management. Missions pace progress through enemy waves, routes, objectives, and weapon opportunities, with progress divided into stages, tasks, matches, or growth milestones that make immediate goals understandable. Its value depends on whether these rules continue to create judgment and room for mastery rather than on length, sales, or series recognition. Short campaigns are judged by repeat-challenge value, while longer ones are judged by variety, pacing, and recovery after failure. Aiming feedback, projectiles, hits, and danger zones need to remain readable, while resolution, graphics settings, frame rate, aspect ratio, audio, text scaling, and hardware performance need to preserve action, state, and text readability together. The genre-specific limitation is that camera turning, aiming methods, dense encounters, and peripheral support can increase control pressure. Platform conditions also include OS and hardware requirements, installation media, patches, drivers, DRM and launchers, key binding and controller support, save locations, mod compatibility, servers, and era-specific OS compatibility affect the current release. This description covers only this platform release and does not import features or conveniences from remasters, emulators, or other console editions.
Collected in series
Hitman makes a guarded location into a puzzle for Agent 47 to unravel. Watching routines, borrowing disguises and spotting opportunities can open a route to a target. Its assassination missions invite you to return with a different plan and see how the same place reacts.

Windows PCAI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
Flexible assassination stays tense, with a shallow notoriety system.
The original PC release of Hitman: Blood Money places Agent 47 in distinct spaces such as a theme park and Mardi Gras celebration. Disguises, hidden bodies, staged accidents, and direct attacks provide many ways to complete an assignment. Rankings and difficulty choices reward a second attempt with a better plan. Guards sometimes behave implausibly under gunfire, while the new notoriety system has little lasting force because its effects can be bought away cheaply. Choral and electronic music, moody lighting, and busy crowds give the contracts a mature visual identity, despite repeated bystander models. A direct comparison reports that the PC version can look comparable to Xbox 360 on a fast computer and works well with mouse and keyboard; inventory management is more awkward here. That conditional observation is not a universal performance guarantee. The assessment concerns the original 2006 Windows release rather than later remasters.
Strengths
- Open missions and strong audiovisual staging reward revisiting.
Weaknesses
- Clumsy combat AI and easily erased notoriety dilute consequences.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy planning disguises and refining mission rankings.
Play notes: This covers the original windows-pc release, not later remasters or Reprisal.
