About this game
Goat Simulator 3 puts you in Pilgor's hooves on the open-world island of San Angora. Lick things, headbutt your surroundings and investigate quests, collectibles and hidden secrets as you roam. Equipment changes what your goat can do: the wardrobe includes jetpacks and firework launchers alongside deliberately ridiculous costumes. You can pursue an island quest, investigate another secret or experiment with a different piece of gear. On Nintendo Switch 2, a friend can join locally or online to explore as a pair. That partnership also opens up competitive mini-games, letting the same two goats alternate between cooperating around the island and competing against each other.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A sandbox for players who enjoy inventing mischief and sharing it with one partner.
Ability-granting gear and an island full of quests suggest a playground driven by experimentation. The two-player format may particularly suit a regular duo that wants both shared exploration and small competitive diversions.
Strengths
- Gear that changes abilities can make dressing the goat an opportunity to experiment, rather than only a cosmetic choice.
- Cooperative exploration and competitive mini-games can give a pair different ways to interact within the same sandbox.
Weaknesses
- The two-player limit may disappoint groups hoping to bring a larger party into the same session.
Who it is for: Players who like trying unusual equipment, poking around for secrets and making their own entertainment with a friend.
Play notes: Online play requires internet access, a Nintendo Account and a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership; local multiplayer needs a compatible controller per player.
