About this game

FINAL FANTASY I-VI Bundle collects the Pixel Remaster versions of the series' first six games. In the first adventure, you travel the world by airship and other vessels; FINAL FANTASY III lets you change jobs to use different abilities, while V expands character planning through skills you can combine. The collection brings these distinct systems together as separate games. Updated 2D pixel graphics accompany the adventures, with a choice of original-version or rearranged music. You can also select a pixel-style or default font, disable random encounters and adjust experience gains. These options let you decide how much to alter exploration interruptions and character growth while discovering the different games' approaches to adventure and development.

Collected in series

Final Fantasy is a role-playing series created by Square in 1987, built around fantastical journeys, memorable characters and growing stronger together. Most numbered entries introduce their own world and cast. From crystals and magic to cities where machinery meets fantasy, each adventure offers a different view.

9.2 / 10Nintendo Switch

A useful collection for players curious about different RPG growth systems and adjustable exploration interruptions.

III's changing jobs and V's combined skills give character-building enthusiasts distinct systems to compare. Encounter and experience options may make the collection more approachable to players who want control over repetition without requiring everyone to use those adjustments.

Strengths

  • The included games offer different character-building ideas, illustrated by III's jobs and V's ability combinations.
  • Optional encounters and experience settings give players ways to adjust parts of the progression process.

Who it is for: Players interested in comparing early FINAL FANTASY systems, especially job choices and ability combinations, with optional progression adjustments.

Play notes: Some changes and additions from earlier remakes are absent, so this collection should not be treated as a compilation of every version's content.
