EA SPORTS FC 26 offers different ways to participate in football. Players can directly control a team on the pitch, develop a character in Player Career or address seasonal situations through Manager Live Challenges. Football Ultimate Team centres on squad construction and competition, including Live Events, tournaments and updated Rivals and Champs experiences. Real players, clubs and league information provide the setting for choosing a preferred balance of play and management. Some modes contain optional purchases, including virtual items selected at random.
