About this game

EA SPORTS FC™ 25 combines football matches with choices about how a team should play. Rush offers a five-a-side format in Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off, while FC IQ's Player Roles influence how footballers behave away from the ball. Rush lessons and match objectives provide a way to learn the format. For a continuing team or individual journey, Manager and Player Career include women's football, and Manager Career brings Youth Academy players into playable Rush tournaments. The Switch edition supports local cooperative or one-on-one matches with a pair of Joy-Con split between players. In handheld mode, touchscreen pinch-to-zoom provides another way to inspect the screen.

A fit for football players interested in both small-team matches and shaping a club's tactical identity.

If you like thinking about movement away from the ball, Player Roles give team selection a tactical angle. Rush and Youth Academy tournaments offer a smaller-team alternative within the broader career and match structure.

Strengths

  • Player Roles can make the relationship between a footballer's assignment and the team's movement worth considering.
  • Split Joy-Con support provides a practical route to local matches with a single controller pair.

Who it is for: Football fans who enjoy tactical setup, career development or sharing local matches.

Play notes: Optional virtual-currency purchases include the ability to obtain random virtual items.
