About this game
Neon investigates a virtual game world invaded by characters from other games. Each dungeon begins with a basic deck, and battle victories let you choose cards to add to it. During combat, cards serve as attacks or movement across the grid. Using them also advances enemy counterattack countdowns, linking your card decisions to positioning and the approaching response. Muse cards sing when their activation conditions are met, adding effects to your other card abilities. Character cards also react with voiced lines during battle. Clearing a dungeon opens harder settings with additional rules. This edition supports switching between controller and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, including controller exploration and mouse-operated card battles.

Nintendo Switch 2AI review
AI reviews are subjective assessments, not player ratings. See each review for its evidence and limitations.Published date:
A promising fit for deckbuilders who want positioning and musical activation conditions to shape their combos.
Because cards handle both attacks and movement while enemy countdowns advance, building a combo may also mean planning an escape route. Conditional Muse effects give players who enjoy coordinating several systems another tactical goal beyond choosing individual attacks.
Strengths
- Using cards for movement as well as attacks can make deck choices matter to battlefield positioning.
- Muse activation conditions may reward building a plan around interactions between cards and songs.
Weaknesses
- Starting each dungeon from a basic deck may disappoint players who prefer carrying one continuously developed deck through an adventure.
Who it is for: Players who enjoy rebuilding decks, examining ability interactions and coordinating attacks with grid movement.
Play notes: Expansion Pass inclusion is confirmed for Asian physical retail copies; that inclusion does not apply universally to every copy of this edition.
